DIRECT MOUNT EMG® 81/89 PICKUPS
An active EMG 81 humbucking bridge pickup will make your leads slice right through even the densest mix, while the EMG 89 neck pickup houses separate preamps and coils for both custom humbucker and single coil sound at your fingertips. In single coil mode, enjoy traditional Strat single coil sound – bright, airy and chimey, while the humbucker delivers rich, warm and powerful sound that is also clear and articulate.

NECK-THROUGH-BODY WITH GRAPHITE REINFORCEMENT AND SCARF JOINT
True neck-through-body construction has been a Jackson hallmark since 1980, allowing for greater playability and sustain. Neck-through is a method of guitar construction which involves extending the piece (or pieces) of wood used for the neck through the entire length of the body. Graphite reinforcement rods flanking the truss rod provide even more neck stability to help the instrument withstand the rigors of the road.
